Foam Corundum Brick
Foam Corundum Brick, is a lightweight refractory material containing more than 90% Al2O3 and is mainly composed of corundum, also known as foamed alumina brick.
The main physical properties of foamed corundum bricks are as follows. The bulk density is 1.2g/cm3 and the compressive strength at room temperature is 80MPa. The starting temperature of load softening is 1525~1595℃, and the change of the reburning line is 0.01%~0.03%. The thermal conductivity at 1000°C is 0.6~0.8W (m·K). Thermal stability (1100℃ air cooling) is greater than 50 times.
Foamed corundum bricks have good high-temperature structural properties. It can be used for the thermal insulation layer of industrial furnaces with temperatures ranging from 1600 to 1800°C and can be directly used for the lining of thermal equipment. However, due to its porous structure, direct contact with slag is not suitable.
A lightweight refractory product containing more than 90% Al2O3 and mainly composed of corundum.
